A St. Charles based Wine and Spirits company is heading out of town…moving its facilities and its employees to Kansas City.

According to reports, Southern Glazers Wine and Spirits of Missouri will be leaving their warehouse off Mueller Road in a transition to the town of Raymore.

The company has provided notice to its 94 employees that it intends to offer all employees employment at the new facility in Raymore, whoever, those who are unable to transfer will be laid off from work effective November 1, 2024.

This includes over 60 union warehouse workers.
