80 mile an hour straight line winds badly damaged the pole supporting the 102.1 FM The River broadcast antenna. In order for us to return to the air, we need your financial help urgently to restore this valuable community service to the local airwaves and with a better signal than previously as it will be higher in the air. Any help you can give us no matter how large or small will go towards procurement of a new tower, which will be able to withstand storms for years to come so we can continue to serve our community with local news, sports and weather information. Please continue to enjoy us here on our website at 1021theriver.org with audio streaming for all devices, and click the button above to donate. If you have a business in our area that can help us with our “Raise The Tower” fundraiser, your business will receive lots and lots of on air promotion in return. Please send comments or questions to mbatchelor@gmail.com. I’ll also be keeping the news updated here daily and on the “St Charles County News Podcast” available on all major podcast streaming platforms. Thank You For Your Support! Looking forward to being back and better than ever!
