A major expansion is coming to the Ameristar Casino Resort & Spa in St. Charles.

Following announcements on Wednesday, the company says they’re planning to add 43,000 square feet of event space to their facility.

The property already has 22,000 square feet of convention center space, along with the casino and just under 400 hotel rooms.

Officials say they’re also going to be remodeling numerous hotel rooms and some of their restaurants, as part of a renovation and rebranding project that’s expected to be completed sometime in the fall of 2025.

The company also says there will be a small number of new jobs created in the expansion.
