Results are in from Tuesday’s elections across the region.
For the US House of Representatives District 2, it was Ray Hartmann over Chuck Summers for the Democrats and Ann Wagner over Peter Pfeifer for the Republicans.
In District 3 it was Bethany Mann over Andrew Daly for the Democrats and Bob Onder over Kurt Schaefer for the Republicans.
In the US Senate race it was Lucas Kunce over Karla May for the Democrats.
For the Missouri Senate seat # 23 representing the St. Peter’s region, in the Republican Race it was Adam Schnelting over Phil Christofanelli and 2 others.
For the Missouri House, District 64 saw incumbent Tony Lovasco of O’Fallon being defeated by challenger Deanna Self, both on the Republican Ticket. District 66 saw Marlene Terry defeat Tommie Pierson SR while Amanda Taylor defeated 2 others in the race for District 103, all for the Democrats. In District 104 it was former St. Peters alderwoman Terri Violet who defeated Jeremy Lloyd, along with Mike Costlow over Max Calfo for District 108 and Cecelie Williams over Gary Bonacker for District 111, all on the Republican ticket.
Locally, propositions in Flint Hill, Wentzville & the New Melle Fire District all passed.
Several Republican seats were contested in the St. Charles County Council, including District 2 which saw Joe Brazile defeat Nathan Bibb, District 4 which saw Dave Hammond defeat Debbie Cook, and District 6 which saw Patti York defeat Missy Palitzsch.
For the Circuit Judge positions we saw Gwendolyn Goeke win for Circuit 11, Division 13 and Matthew Thornhill for Circuit 11, Division 4.
Statewide we saw Mike Kehoe defeat numerous contenders in the race for Missouri Governor on the Republican ticket and Crystal Quade defeating Mike Hamra for the Democrat ticket.
For Lieutenant Governor, Dave Wasinger defeated 5 others to nab the Republican Nomination while Richard Brown beat Anastasia Syes on the Democrat ticket.
Other state seats won for Republicans included Denny Hoskins for Secretary of State, Vivek Malek for State Treasurer, and Andrew Bailey for Attorney General.
The statewide propositions….amendment 1 which affects child care, failed by a 10% difference, while amendment 4 for the KC Police Department passed in a 9% difference.
