Those wanting to save a little on back-to-school shopping will get that chance starting later this week.
The annual “Back-to-School Sales Tax Holiday” across Missouri will run from 12:01 Friday morning, August 2nd, through Sunday, August 4th.
The shopping holiday exempts all state and local sales or use taxes during the exemption period on qualifying items. Some of those items include clothing, school supplies, computers and other stuff as defined by statute.
