The Missouri Senate has passed a bill that would ban cell phone use in public schools, except for emergencies, instructional purposes, or when allowed under federal law. Proposed by Sen. Henderson argues that excessive phone use leads to lost instructional time, cheating, and other concerns. The bill now moves to the House for consideration.
