A glitch in the system causing delays in reporting for elections results across St. Charles County.
According to officials, the tech glitch involved a third-party website vendor that was providing the “live voter turnout,” but it had no affected on the actual reporting of the numbers to the state.
In a statement to the St. Louis Post Dispatch, St. Charles County director of elections Kurt Bahr says they “typically post the final results between 9:30 and 10PM on elections nights” and that they were able to get the glitch repaired for voters to see the results by 10PM that evening.
