A Big Lots discount store that is currently in the process of going out of business will not remain empty for long. Ollies Bargain Outlet, a chain that specializes in closesout merchandise which started opening in the area in 2022 is planning for the location at 5881 Suemandy Drive in St Peters as its fifth location in the Metro St. Louis area. Ollies, which is based in Pennsylvania also won leases for six other Big Lots stores nationwide in its bankruptcy auction.
