A St. Charles-area man died in a motorcycle crash Sunday night in Jefferson County, 55-year-old Shane L. Sargent was pronounced dead at Mercy Hospital St. Louis in Creve Coeur.  State Troopers say Sargent was westbound on Jim Weber Road traveling at a high rate of speed when he lost control of the motorcycle and ran off the road. The motorcycle hit a stone wall and Sargent was ejected.
