A man from St Charles County has been accused of having nearly 2000 different pieces of child pornography videos and images that he traded online. Authorities were tipped off by a Google user that Jamie L Andrews, age 36 had files containing child pornography stored on Google servers. Investigators found images of children from toddler age to pre pubescent age in various states of undress engaging in sexual or lewd behavior. In August of last year the St Charles Cyber Crime task force served a search warrant of Andrews’ home on Oak Pont Drive in unincorporated St Charles County just outside the O’Fallon City Limits. Andrews was arrested and remains in the St Charles County Jail on a $250,000 Cash only bond.
Unregulated video lottery machines that can often be found in places like gas stations, restaurants, and bars are under scrutiny by state law makers. Representaive Bill Hardick, a Republican from the south central Missouri town of Dixon, has introduced a bill to the Missouri House to force all operators of unregulated video lottery machines to switch over to approved Missouri Lottery machines in 18 months after the bill passes. Opponents of the bill generally do not oppose regulation of these machines, however do not like wording of the current House Bill 970. The bill has been sent to committee for further work on a final bill to be voted on by the Missouri House of Representatives.
St Peters Police are asking for help from the public in identifying a person of inerest who burglarized the Moleafs Glass and Grow Smoke shop on Mexico Rd in St Peters just after Midnight on January 18 and stole over $1000 in merchandise. The suspect had been discovered by police investigators to have been in the store making a purchase two days prior to the burglary. On both occasions, the suspect, a younger adult African American Male described by witnesses as approximately 5’5′ tall. On both occasions the suspect was seen at the smoke shop, he was riding a black micycle with red front forks.
